Short Bio:
Hanna Ahrenberg is a Project Manager at the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE e. V.), the umbrella organization representing Germany’s renewable energy sector. Within the National and International Projects team, she supports initiatives such as the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD) and the BETD Media Fellows Program, which promote a just energy transition and highlight the role of the German private sector as a reliable partner on the international stage. She contributed to the Women Energize Women campaign and conference during BEE’s collaboration with GIZ, and advocates for gender equality in the sector through speaking and workshop engagements. As a #womenenergize ambassador and mentee in the W.one – Women of New Energies mentoring program, she is actively building her expertise within a dynamic professional network. With an academic background in Communication and Media Studies and a Master’s degree in Communication Management, Hanna brings strong skills in public relations, strategic communication, and stakeholder engagement. She is particularly passionate about leveraging communication as a driver for transformative change in the global energy landscape.
